About the Cemetery

Pioneer Cemetery has been in existence since 1853. It is the resting place for Delhi's first township clerk, Caleb Thompson, elected in 1842, and is the burial site for more than 200 of Delhi's pioneer residents. Pioneer Cemetery is an Ingham County historical site and is in the Michigan State Register of Historic Sites.
