Delhi Townships Ethic policy

Delhi Township adopts new ethics, conflict of interest policy

In Delhi Township, our top priority is to earn and maintain the trust of everyone who lives or works in our community. Every Township official – both elected and appointed – plays a role in ensuring the integrity of the work our local government does.

That’s why the Delhi Township Board of Trustees this week adopted a new ethics and conflict of interest policy that will help ensure Township officials and staff always operate within the best interest of the Township and its residents.

Our new ethics and conflict of interest policy will help prevent even the appearance of inappropriate behavior or activities among board and committee members and employees and help maintain the public’s confidence in Delhi Township government.

Youth Sports canceled

This just in: Fall youth sports canceled, refunds issued

Out of an abundance of caution, and in line with our partner Holt Public Schools’ announcement that fall sports at the junior high and high school levels will be postponed, we have decided to cancel youth flag football and soccer for the Fall 2020 season. Full refunds have been issued to all players.

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state, we feel canceling the Fall 2020 youth sports season is a necessary step to help prevent the virus from spreading in our community.

We will continue to monitor COVID-19 developments closely and will make decisions about late fall/ winter indoor recreational sports in coming weeks.
