Delhi Township officials are extending deep appreciation to residents who voted overwhelmingly in the Nov. 8 general election to renew two millages that will keep funding repairs and replacement of emergency medical equipment and keep up the township’s top-notch parks and trails system.
The successful millage renewals don’t change the tax rate yet will maintain a high level of public safety services and continue to improve the quality of life for our residents.
“We are grateful residents chose to support these millage renewals,” said John Hayhoe, Delhi Township supervisor. “These millages provide the critical funds needed to maintain the high-quality services and top-notch equipment residents have come to expect from Delhi Township, all while keeping in place the current tax rate.”
The fire equipment millage will keep funding repairs and replacement of fire, emergency medical and ambulance equipment and vehicles. The parks millage provides funds to continue operating trails and recreation facilities, repair and refurbish amenities, expand recreational access and park equipment.
